1. Who we are

STAR Coach is operated by iKasi24 (Pty) Ltd ("we", "us"), company registration 2026/245367/07, registered at 29 Patrick Road, Charlo, Port Elizabeth, 6070. We process personal information in line with the Protection of Personal Information Act, 2013 (POPIA).

2. What we collect

Account details: your email address and password (stored only as a secure hash).
Practice content you choose to enter: job adverts, job titles, interview answers, recordings' transcripts, AI feedback and scores.
Payment information: payments are processed by Payfast; we never see or store your card details. We store only the payment reference, amount and date.
Technical data: basic usage counters (e.g. number of previews per day) needed to run and protect the service.

3. How we use it

To provide interview practice, AI-generated questions and feedback.
To activate and manage your 30-day access after payment.
To prevent abuse of the free preview and AI features.
To respond to support and deletion requests.

4. AI processing

Job adverts and answers you submit are processed by an external AI service to generate questions and feedback. Do not submit other people's personal information or highly confidential details.

5. Sharing

We do not sell your information. We share it only with the service providers needed to run STAR Coach: our hosting and database provider, the AI provider, and Payfast for payments.

6. Retention

Account and practice data is kept while your account exists and for up to 24 months after your access expires, unless you ask us to delete it sooner.

7. Your rights

Under POPIA you may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information. You can download your data or request deletion from your account page, or email support@starcoach.co.za.
