1. The service

STAR Coach helps you practise job interviews using the STAR method, with AI-generated questions and feedback. It is a coaching aid, not a guarantee of interview success or employment.

2. Accounts

You need a verified email address to create an account. Keep your password private. One active sign-in per account is allowed; signing in on a new device signs out others.

3. Paid access

• Full access costs R99 once-off and lasts 30 days from activation.
• It includes 5 interview question sets, 35 AI feedback checks and 10 advert extractions. Allowances do not roll over.
• Renewing adds 30 days after your current expiry and resets allowances.
• Payments are processed by Payfast. Access activates automatically once Payfast confirms payment.

4. Free preview

The free preview allows one advert reading and one set of 7 questions, with practice on the first question. A site-wide daily limit applies; when reached, the preview pauses until the next day.

5. Acceptable use

Do not misuse the service, attempt to bypass limits or security, scrape it, or submit unlawful or harmful content. We may suspend accounts that break these rules.

6. AI content

AI-generated questions, scores and feedback are coaching estimates and may be imperfect. Always use your own judgement and real experience in interviews.

7. Availability and liability

We aim for a reliable service but cannot guarantee uninterrupted availability. To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect losses. Nothing in these terms limits your rights under the Consumer Protection Act.
